Overview of Roth underfloor heating systems

Roth underfloor heating systems offer flexible and energy-efficient solutions for different types of buildings and applications. The systems are adapted for both new construction and renovation, and include solutions for fast reaction times as well as different types of floor constructions, such as wet and dry installations.

Roth underfloor heating systems can be used in:

  • Residential and office buildings
  • Public buildings
  • showrooms and exhibition centres
  • Industrial and commercial buildings
  • Sports halls

Underfloor heating systems and their construction

Roth underfloor heating systems include several different construction options, depending on the specific needs of the project:

Pipes and components

Roth offers different types of pipes for underfloor heating systems:

  • Roth X-PERT S5® Pipe: A flexible 5-layer pipe with an oxygen diffusion barrier inside the pipe, suitable for all types of underfloor heating.
  • Roth Alu-LaserPlus® Pipe:A multi-layer pipe, including a laser-welded aluminum sheath, suitable for tap water and heating systems.

Controls

Roth underfloor heating systems include advanced control systems:

  • Roth Touchline® SL: Wireless control system for underfloor heating and radiators, with the ability to control the system via an app.
  • Roth Touchline® BL: A wired control system for individual control and regulation of the room temperature.
  • Roth Touchline® PL: A cost-effective system for up to two rooms, ideal for smaller installations such as bathrooms and kitchens.

Installation and adjustment

To ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency, Roth recommends that the following installations and adjustments be performed:

  • Correct dimensioning of the system in relation to the building
  • Flushing and aerating the system
  • Adjustment of pipe distributors and shunts
  • Installation of heat emission plates and correct setting of supply temperature and pump

Troubleshooting and support

Roth Technical Support provides advice and assistance throughout the project. In the event of any problems with the system, you can check the system pressure, supply temperature and that all components are working properly. For more detailed troubleshooting and support, contact Roth's technicians.
