Manfred and Heike Roth support children and young adult hospice

Entrepreneur Manfred Roth and his wife Heike have donated over EUR 5,000 to the Gießen/Marburg outpatient children and young adult hospice association. Pamela Stephens accepted the donation for the area of Marburg-Biedenkopf at the Marburg office. Guests celebrating Manfred Roth’s 80th birthday and the couple’s golden wedding anniversary helped with the fundraising campaign.

Roth Industries honours retirees and employees celebrating service milestones for their long-standing loyalty

Roth Industries threw a party in honour of staff members who have been serving the business for 40 or 25 years and to say farewell to those who have retired this year. The 18 employees from the family company’s various subsidiaries have reached these milestones and can boast 525 years of service between them – or 544 in the case of the 17 retirees.

Roth honoured twice at the "Großer Preis des Mittelstandes"

The Oskar Patzelt Foundation honoured Dautphetal-based family company Roth Industries with two awards. In September, the company received the Großer Preis des Mittelstandes. In addition, the foundation surprised the management on 19 October 2019 with an honorary plaque recognising four outstanding companies in Germany. The awards were each presented as part of a gala event in Würzburg.

Apprentices at Roth Industries receive their trade proficiency certificates

Apprentices from companies in the Roth Industries group celebrated the successful completion of their apprenticeships. During the ceremony, Head of HR Michael Donges presented trade proficiency certificates and bonuses of EUR 1,800 in recognition of their achievements. He congratulated the 17 apprentices on their success.

Balancing work and care: Roth signs charter

In Hesse, the family company Roth Industries from Dautphetal signed a charter dedicated to the compatibility of employment and caregiving. The Hessian Ministry for Social Affairs and Integration invited the company to do so. The charter was handed over on 7 October 2019 at the company’s headquarters in Frankfurt. On behalf of the Roth family business, Managing Director Claus-Hinrich Roth accepted the charter from Kai Klose, Hessian Minister for Social Affairs and Integration.

Roth welcomes new apprentices

The new apprentices for this year began their training at Roth on 1 August 2019. HR managers, trainers, the workers’ council as well as youth and apprentice representatives welcomed the new entrants. A total of 25 young people began their working life.

Entrepreneur Manfred Roth celebrates his 80th birthday on 10 August 2019. At the beginning of 2019, he stepped down from the Management Board at Roth Industries with its registered office in Dautphetal-Buchenau and transferred the responsibility to his three children. They are partners in the company while Manfred Roth retains a minority share.

On 14 June 2019, Roth Industries is hosting a "Training Day" in the Roth Atrium in Dautphetal-Buchenau. From 3 to 8 PM, the company will open its doors for an informational event about its innovative apprenticeship and training concept. Pupils, parents, teachers and other individuals interested in training are all welcome.

Lions Club makes donations to 34 kindergartens

The Lions Club of Biedenkopf donated 10,200 euros to 34 kindergartens in the Hinterland region. Each kindergarten received more than 300 euros. The donations came from the proceeds for Lions advent calendar sales last year.

Roth Industries donates an automated external defibrillator (AED) for the community centre of Dautphetal-Holzhausen. With this donation, the Buchenau-based company is supporting the campaign "The heart-safe district of Marburg-Biedenkopf", launched by the district of Marburg-Biedenkopf together with the Björn Steiger Foundation.

Roth is awarded the ZVSHK seal of quality - Quality, safety and service

As part of the world’s leading trade fair ISH that took place from 11 to 15 March, the German Central Association of the Sanitary, Heating and Air-Conditioning Industry (Zentralverband Sanitär-Heizung-Klima, ZVSHK) awarded the new quality seal “Certified Manufacturer” to ten companies from the industry. Roth Werke from Buchenau was among the companies who received the award. Quality, safety and service are the criteria considered for awarding the seal.

There are designs in wood, stone, marble and concrete effect. They are quick to install, create a real interior highlight and give bathrooms an individual look.

In addition to their 2.2-square-metre swimming pool absorber HelioPool, Roth Werke now offer a smaller model. The new 1.2-square-metre absorber is perfect for small, private pools and geometrically challenging roofs. The HelioPool is suitable for direct solar heating of swimming pool water using the constant flow principle. It is environmentally friendly and helps save energy. The two absorber sizes can be flexibly combined.

Buchenau-based Roth Werke completes its comprehensive range with the new ThermoAura F air/water heat pump. Thanks to its annual COP of more than 4.5 at 16 °C, it is also subsidised by the government for new buildings. Roth uses the climate-friendly natural refrigerant R290 (propane) in the device.

The range includes the four new Touchline S in-room control units Smart, Slide, Sense and Standard for individual room control.

Training places still available for 2019 at Roth Industries - Almost all trainees receive a new job

Roth Industries offers around 25 new apprenticeships every year. The offer includes commercial, technical and industrial occupations for apprentices, annual interns and students at "Studium Plus". For this year's training start, Roth is still looking for apprentices for the professions of electronics technician and industrial mechanic.
