The Bundesindustrieverband Deutschland Haus-, Energie- und Umwelttechnik e. V. (BHD) represents the economic, technical and political interests of its members in dealings with politicians, administration, commercial partner organisations and the public. The BDH consists of 103 industrial companies and two associated organisations. In 2013, the manufacturing companies within the BDH generated sales of 13 billion euros with a workforce of around 67,300 employees worldwide. This means that German industry has a 60 percent share of the European market.
The BDH members manufacture utility supplies systems with a focus on heating technology. Their range of products includes boilers with outputs of 4 kilowatts to 36 megawatts, burners, combustion technology components, radiators, surface heating and cooling systems, systems for using renewable energies, control devices and exhaust gas systems. The members of the BDH offer complete system solutions for buildings with a focus on generating, distributing and transferring heat as well as on supplying hot water based on gas, oil, electricity and renewable energies.

ARGE Neue Medien der deutschen SHK-Industrie e. V. (New Media Syndicate of the German Sanitary, Heating and Air Conditioning Industry)

ARGE Neue Medien is an association of more than 100 leading brand manufacturers in the sanitary, heating and air conditioning industries. Its primary goal is to optimise processes in a three-tier distribution channel. It implements a wide range of projects in the new media sector and in electronic transaction processing. The SHK (sanitary, heating and air conditioning) industry portal, a central Internet platform for information, communication and transactions within the SHK industry, is an important tool for ARGE. Industry experts can use this portal to find data, information and documents about products made by manufacturers in the industry.

Bundesverband Lagerbehälter e. V. (Federal Association of Storage Container Manufacturers)

The Bundesverband Lagerbehälter e. V. (bl e.V.) is made up of the leading German manufacturers of containers. They offer a diverse variety of tanks made from PE, PA, GRP and steel to commercial and private users.

In addition to fuel oil and mineral oil storage, the tanks have a wide range of other applications and can be used in rainwater utilisation systems, for example. The members of our association work in working groups focusing on steel tanks, plastic battery tanks, GRP tanks and rainwater systems.

Bundesvereinigung der Firmen im Gas- und Wasserfach e.V.

The mission of FIGAWA is to provide tangible benefits to companies in the gas and water industry. The association: contributes to the standards development process; is involved in the DVGW company and product certification program; organises continuing education and training programs; provides a platform to help clarify engineering and scientific issues; collects, edits and formats information from the world of science, engineering and practical application; contributes to the technical improvement of systems and equipment which are designed to produce, extract, transport, distribute and use gas and water resources; stimulates and promotes engineering and engineering/scientific work in the field of water and gas; promotes the sustainable, cost-effective and eco friendly use of gas as an energy source – from the well to the customer.

Fachvereinigung Betriebs- und Regenwassernutzung e.V. (fbr)

The mission of the water recycling and rain water association (fbr) is to promote water recycling and rain water utilisation and to provide a focal point for companies and organisations which are interested in or involved in these activities.
The association addresses all aspects of environmental protection and scientific research. It promotes the use of recycled water and rain water as a subset of ecological water policy. fbr seeks to work closely with all eco-focused organisations and institutions which are actively involved in water management issues, using this framework to facilitate the creation of holistic solutions which are broadly accepted by society and to discuss and develop strategies which are sustainable in the long term.

Anyone who is interested in or involved in water recycling and rain water utilisation is encouraged to use fbr as a point of contact or information source.

The association was formed in response to the continued neglect of ecological water management principles, which is evident at all levels of society during the planning and execution of residential development projects. In order to provide for future generations, eco-friendly and responsible solutions must be identified which will enable us to retain and restore the natural water cycle.

Individuals, companies or institutions which are interested in or involved in water recycling and rain water utilisation may become members of the organization.
