For their environmentally-friendly production, Roth Werke won the national award for "EMAS-Umweltmanagement 2018" [environmental management]. As part of the conference "Sustainable Commerce planning for 2030" in Berlin, Florian Pronold, the Parliamentary State Secretary to the Federal Ministry of the Environment, recognised companies for their contribution towards protecting the environment.

Roth Industries honours retirees and employees celebrating service milestones for their long-standing loyalty

Roth Industries threw a party in honour of staff members who have been serving the business for 40 or 25 years and to say farewall to those who have retired this year. 21 employees from the family company’s various subsidiaries have reached these milestones and can boast 675 years of service between them – or 568 in the case of the 15 retirees.

The Roth Werke Buchenau site was awarded the “Hessian State Award for Universal Design 2018” for its innovative Vinata complete shower unit. The award ceremony was held on 20 November 2018 as part of the Hypermotion trade fair in Frankfurt. The competition received 119 submissions.

Reorganisation of Roth sales area in central Germany - Christian Claus appointed as new Regional Sales Manager

Buchenau-based company Roth Werke has reorganised sales for its energy systems in central Germany, with effect from 1 September 2018. The company has appointed Christian Claus to take over regional sales management. Long-standing Roth employee André Weigand has now joined technical sales.

Roth crowned finalist in the “Großer Preis des Mittelstandes”

The Oskar Patzelt Foundation crowned Dautphetal-based family company Roth Industries a finalist in the “Großer Preis des Mittelstandes” (the “SME Grand Prix”). The award ceremony was held as part of a gala event in Würzburg on 15 September 2018.

At a graduation ceremony, Head of HR Michael Donges presented trade proficiency certificates and bonuses of €1250 in recognition of their achievements. He congratulated the the newly qualified specialists on their success.

2018 EMAS surveillance audit successfully passed

Roth Werke in Buchenau and Roth Plastic Technology in Wolfgruben successfully passed the surveillance audits conducted in accordance with the EMAS (Eco-Management and Audit Scheme) environmental auditing system in early August.

Roth welcomes new apprentices

This year’s new apprentices are on the educational path within the Roth companies since August 1st. They were welcomed by the management executive board member and Head of HR , the supervisor and the chair of the work council. A total of 27 apprentices began their working lifes.

Roth successfully certified to ISO 9001:2015

Roth Werke in Buchenau and Roth Umwelttechnik in Bischofswerda both passed their eighth quality management audit in June, the first to be conducted to the new ISO 9001:2015 standard.

Roth wins “EMAS Environmental Management 2018” award

Having applied for the national “EMAS Environmental Management 2018” award, Roth was crowned winner of the category for large companies. The German Federal Ministry for the Environment (BMUB) and the Association of German Chambers of Commerce and Industry (DIHK) are honouring Buchenau-based Roth Werke and Wolfgruben-based Roth Plastic Technology for the exemplary and innovative environmental management systems they have in place.

The family-owned company, Roth Industries, has held its fourth “Training Information Day” and opened its doors to offer an insight into possible future careers. Buchenau-based company Roth Werke has reorganised sales for its energy systems in Germany West. Experienced Roth employee René Kolfhaus has taken over as Regional Sales Manager, effective as of 1 January 2018. Markus Golditz has joined Roth as Key Account Property Manager in the sales area West.

Roth is expanding its range of heat pumps with variable-speed devices

Buchenau-based company Roth Werke is offering an updated range of heat pumps. The new air/water heat pumps for indoor and outdoor installation and the new brine/water heat pumps are variable-speed appliances. They are particularly energy-efficient as they only supply the required thermal output. All of the manufacturer’s new air/water heat pumps have an active cooling function and the brine/water heat pumps facilitate passive cooling. The hydraulic components are integrated into the devices.
