Responsible Consumption and Production

The global material footprint continues to grow, although the pace has slowed. Thus, the focal point of goal 12 is to ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns. This also includes safe management of waste and lowering emissions from production facilities.

Roth is currently contributing to this goal by designing and developing products that are made to last for many years. We further expect our business partners to uphold the same high standards of integrity and sustainability as the Roth Group. We do not only encourage but also require responsible business conduct from our suppliers.

In 2023, we integrated a due diligence process that includes a contractual agreement between Roth North Europe and its suppliers. This agreement demands that suppliers act responsibly and commit to the same high standards of integrity and sustainability as the Roth Group.

Additionally in 2023, we developed Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) for 25 products in our range, enhancing transparency about our products’ environmental impact.

We are committed to expanding the availability of product specific EPDs to even more products, providing transparent data on product emissions.

Prospectively, we will focus on becoming fully transparent regarding the environmental footprint of our products.
